Artist's Comments

The goal was to make a new kind of collage--a montage of Ville Valo, if you will. This wallpaper is of Ville Valo's eye made of sixty-three (63) Ville Valo photos. The model for his eye was taken from a clip of this photo of him. I'm rather proud of this, having proven to myself that such a collage of him could be done.

To all fanpersons--this is what a true fanatic does to honor the one they adore. True fanatics do not sit on the sidelines and cheer. They make magnificient statements to let the world know of their ardor--to announce the coming of the one they extol.

I am not, actually, fanatical about Ville Valo and His Infernal Majesty, but I have always wanted to do something like this, and he simple presented the opportunity.

I actually wanted to do one with a body shot of Ville, but I'm lazier than I may seem and the magnitude of such a project exhausted me. --But one of the entire band? You must tell me when and if you ever finish it! Good luck!

Just regular ol' Paint Shop Pro, I believe. Gosh this was even before I mainstreamed to Adobe Photoshop.
